For me the greatest gift of all is a good book recommendation. This year I was suggested to take up young adult fantasy, which has become my go-to vessel for momentary escapism. Depending on my emotional needs, I enjoy a broad spectrum of genres, from Soviet espionage thrillers to non-fiction about men, nature and masculinities. Books turn me into a jealous person, as I find it difficult to let go and lend them away.

I have always been a bookworm and weekly library visits were the highlight of my week as a child. My favorite genre has always been romance and big long family sagas. In recent years Wherever I go, I always read a book by a local author and have diversified my reading a lot. I especially love exploring bookstores while traveling.

As a web designer and IT business strategist, I love supporting Alice and Nita with their amazing project. Though I don’t have much time for reading, I admire what they’ve built and enjoy helping them from the IT side.
With over 10 years of experience in IT consulting and project management, I’ve discovered a passion for web design. My goal is to help entrepreneurs create their perfect online presence and streamline their IT landscape.

I believe in the power of sharing. With this project, an old love of mine (reading) meets a new interest (programming) to provide a platform for feminist literature – which I see as a source of empowerment and an important place for exchange. So I happily share my time and energy to help build this beautiful idea of Alice and Nita. Because at the same time it helps me grow.

I’m originally from Bilbao and currently live in Berlin. I’m a lawyer by profession, but books have been the passion of my life. They’re how I learned English and how I first became aware of a world beyond the village where I was raised.

I love literary fiction, discovering new authors and recommending books to friends. My guilty pleasure is crime fiction: there’s nothing like a good mystery, a grumpy detective and an unexpected plot twist.

I love reading fantasy books—they’re my favorite way to escape for a bit. Lately, I’ve also been really into historical graphic novels. For me, books are a way to see life from different perspectives and understand things better. I’m always happy to share my books with anyone curious and open to exploring something new.
